We love restaurants that let you BYOB -- and are even willing to pay a small ($5) corkage fee. Metro Kathmandu over in almost-trendy Divisadero Corridor is offering what they call a "stimulus package" for the months of March and April. Yep, BYOB Sunday thru Thursday nights from 5:30 to 10 pm and they'll open it for you for $5. Hmmmm... now what goes best with Nepalese food? Red or white? Check out their menu here.
And -- should you get all the way over here, find parking and forget to BYOB, there's always Falletti Foods just around the corner at Broderick and Fell. Like we reported last week -- they've got bottles of wine for $10-$12.
