Hear, hear. The California Supreme Court will be hearing the historic case regarding the constitutionality of Proposition 8 -- the one that took away marriage rights for gays and lesbians in California last November tomorrow, March 5.
If you support equal rights for all (and come on, who doesn't?) then come out tonight -- 5 pm at Castro and Market Sts. for an Eve of Justice rally and candlelight march down to City Hall. Dustin Lance Black (Academy Award winning screenwriter for "Milk") will be among the many inspirational speakers lined up to fire up the crowd. The march kicks off at 6 pm -- so don't be late.
Tomorrow there will be a vigil in front of the Court House (350 McAllister) while the case is being heard by the Supreme Court. A Jumbotron TV will broadcast the hearing live -- bring your umbrella and be on time -- the hearing starts at 9 am sharp.
Oh -- and did we mention this is all FREE? Yep -- and rallies are sexy, too.
