JON GINOLI FROM PANSY DIVISION READING TONIGHT AT BOOKSMITH IN THE HAIGHT

7:30 pm -- FREE.

Yep, queer-rock'n'roller Jon Ginoli will be reading from his new book, "Deflowered: My Life in Pansy Division" tonight at the Booksmith in the Haight (1644 Haight St.).

Hear tales about Ginoli's journey of self-discovery, musical passion, and drive to become the founding member of Pansy Division, the first openly gay punk rock band to make the national scene. The book features behind-the-scenes photographs and is replete with the requisite tales of sex, drugs, groupies, band fights, and label battles. According to this blurb,
"this rollicking memoir is also an impassioned account of staying true to their artistic vision of queer rock'n'roll."
It's FREE, so come out (pun intended, maybe) to meet Jon and have him sign your copy of his book.
