Burgeoning camp classic, "Diamond Head" (1963) has a rare showing today as part of the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. Castro Theatre, 12 noon, $11.The festival guide describes the film as:
A bigoted white plantation owner (Charlton Heston) resents native Hawaiians and mixed-bloods taking over his inheritance in this steamy, spectacular widescreen soap opera of changing political landscapes and interracial romance.
