Alright Fogheads, it's that time of year again, KFOG is releasing its Live from the Archives 16 this week and you can be among the first to get your copy of this annual unique compilation of music from musicians working in a diverse selection of genres and musical styles. Live tracks have been donated by artists like Mat Kearney, who will do a couple of numbers at Peet's Coffee in the Ferry Building today at 12:30.

Purchase Mat's new CD "City of Black & White" and he'll sign it for you. Pick up a copy of KFOG's Live from the Archives 16, and know that all proceeds from this CD go to benefit Bay Area Food Banks. We interrupt our usually class-less coverage of cheap and easy events in SamClamsDisco today for a little cult-cha. There's a FREE San Francisco Symphony concert this afternoon in Dolores Park (18th St. and Dolores). 2 pm. Bring a blanket, pack a picnic basket and listen to an afternoon of musical favorites including excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet, followed by Beethoven’s incomparable Symphony No. 5. Oh, and don’t miss your chance to meet members of the Orchestra demonstrating their instruments before the concert.

FILLMORE STREET JAZZ FESTIVAL - THE LARGEST JAZZ FESTIVAL ON THE WEST COAST
