As someone who chowed down on crab cakes for breakfast for the very first time when Just for You was still on "the Hill", I think we can say we knew her when.
Long grown up and re-located over in the Dogpatch at 732 22nd St. (@ 3rd), Just for You turns 20 today -- and that is like 150 in restaurant years. If you've never had crab cakes for breakfast then make today be the day and you'll get a free beignet, too!
What's a beignet? Oh, child. You've got a lot to learn. Hustle over to Just for You now to start your education. They're only open 'til 3 pm today.
And btw, the huevos rancheros with vegetarian red sauce are dang good, too!
Upshot: Read L.E. Leone's tribute to Just for You in the SF Bay Guardian ...there are worse places you could be stood up.
