On the Corner at 359 Divisadero (@ Oak) does FREE movie night tonight (and every Thursday), starting at 9:30 pm sharp. Tonight's flick is the Mel Brooks classic Blazing Saddles (1974) -- and the On the Corner cafe will even throw in some FREE popcorn.
Come watch Gene Wilder, Cleavon Little, Harvey Korman and Madeline Kahn cut up on the cafe's 9' x 12' screen and hang out with the locals (and/or other Mel Brooks fans). Drink specials, pizza specials, and did we say popcorn? Oh, yeah.
Check out some more Nights at the Corner -- Tuesday is for knitters and Wednesday is for board games (supplied by neighbor Gamescape, so this ain't exactly your grandmother's board game night).
