Solidarity! May Day March from 24th St. to Civic Center Today

May 1
24th & Mission
12 noon
(Rally at Civic Center starts at 2 PM)

Join more than 10,000 San Franciscans for worker and immigrant rights this afternoon in the city's annual May Day march. The march kicks off at 12 noon at 24th St. and Mission. Assemble with local worker/union groups, immigrant rights folks and the LGBT community (look for the huge rainbow flag that once flew proudly over the Castro). Yep, it's time to call for Comprehensive Immigration Reform and make sure draconian anti-immigrant laws like the one in Arizona do not pop up anywhere else. San Francisco's immigrant community is a critical part of the city's infrastructure and they need everyone's support. It's a beautiful day, and you need some exercise. Walk in solidarity up to the Civic Center for a rally that starts at 2 pm.
