OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOK AMNESTY

Ok, you've partied hard this weekend and you want to turn over a new leaf for a day and half before Cinco de Mayo rolls around. What better way to pull yourself up out of the gutter and to feel good about life again than to return those way overdue library books (and maybe some CDs and DVDs, too). You know, those books and things that became so embarrassingly late to return you stopped reading altogether rather than encounter the library police.

Here's the deal: From today through May 16 (yep, you've got almost 2 weeks to work your nerve up if you need to), return those long overdue materials, no questions asked. The fines will be waived on the materials you return and you'll be restored to a member of the San Francisco Public Library in good standing.
